The 6 E’s

The 6 "E"’s to One on One Evangelism

  1. Entrance (definition: opening)
    • Most people say that they could never do street witnessing because they could never approach people.  You talk to people everyday at the grocery store, etc.
    Option:
    • Have you heard the good news?
    • Hey, have you gotten one of these?
    • We are out doing a survey.  Do you mind if we ask you a question?
  2. Evaluation (to determine where a person is)
    • Ask the question:  "Would you know if anything happened to you tonight or a long time from now, would you know in your heart that you would go to heaven?"
You will get one of several answers:

    • If someone says yes, I will go to heaven:

      • That is great – can I ask you how you know your are going to heaven?
      • May even ask – "When your time is done on this earth and you stand before God and he asks you: "Why should I let you into my heaven?  what would you say?
        • Most will say – Because I am a good person, I go to church, I try to be nice to people.  Encourage them – "That is great, we need to do that".
